The spaces that bring us together.
A kitchen table. An open door. The small things that make a place yours.

Find your gathering place.
Some homes revolve around a kitchen counter. Others have a porch where conversations linger. A gathering place does not need to be large or carefully styled; it simply needs to invite people to stay.
Think about the places you naturally gravitate toward. That is often a more useful clue than a photograph of a perfectly arranged room.
Let little rituals shape the room.
Perhaps dinner spills into a board game, or friends stop by for coffee on Saturday. Think about what those moments need: an extra chair, a clear surface, or somewhere to put a coat.
Start with the rituals you already enjoy. The room can evolve around them, one small adjustment at a time.
Leave a little space for life.
A room can be beautiful while holding the signs of an ordinary day. Books on the table, a half-finished puzzle, a favorite mug: the details that make a home feel lived in rarely arrive all at once.
This sample story is a reminder to notice the feeling of a space as well as its finishes. The moments you imagine sharing there are part of the picture, too.
